Deloitte Interview Questions

Saturday, February 20, 2010

Interview at Deloitte might vary very much.
You might have a behavioral, case or a general interview.
Before you for an interview ask your friends who had interview with Deloitte and
get their feedback on what type of interview you had. Being prepared will increase your chances of getting your desired accounting internship.

But assuming that you are still in college it will most likely that you will have
a behavioral interview.
First of all, google behavioral interviews and answer as many questions as you can
since it will really make a difference at the end of the day.
And basically search on google and find out more about behavioral interviews.
Also don't forget to go over your resume and prepare a couple of examples from each line on your resume. The example should include a problem which you had and how you solved it.
So it could be we had some issues and I suggested to implement this type of system or blah blah.

Anyhow here are some of the questions which I found that they could ask.
And you have to remember that your goal is not just to be able to answer the questions, but be able to bring an example to the question which will make you shine. Sell yourself! Get that accounting Internship!
Btw. If you know of more possible questions which could be used at Deloitte then please share it with everyone by commenting

"Give an example of a situation in which you had adversity in a group and how did you solved it?"

"Describe a time where you were in a team where a conflict occured. How did you solve the conflict, what was the outcome of the group project?"

"Describe a situation where you were asked to lead a group and tell me what you did that was both effective and ineffective in motivating your group members."

"Describe a time when you have asked for feedback from someone."

"Describe a group project you worked on. What was your role and how did you make it succeed?"

"Give a very specific example of a time when you had to prioritize and put something else above academic activities."

These two questions below are taken directly from the deloiite's career site
“How did you go about deciding on your class project recommendation?”

“Give me an example of when you had to deal with adversity. How did you resolve it?”

Good luck on finding your accounting internships
